Houston Recruitment

Please be advised, regardless of what you hear from the college, the deadline for completing a RIF for the Chi Omega Alumnae Association of Houston is May 1st.  This date applies for universities hosting both Fall and Spring Recruitment.

AUTHORS OF THE ONLINE RECRUITMENT INTRODUCTION FORM (RIF):

Go to the National Chi Omega website and sign into your personal account to access the form. The RIF will be completed online. If you need assistance with the completion of the form, access the user manual at  Online_RIF_User_Manual_Alumnae.pdf. Submitted RIF forms will be routed electronically to the appropriate college, based on the information that you have provided.

AUTHORS OF THE LETTER OF SUPPORT (LOS):

1. The two LOS writers will email their letters directly to the Recruitment Advisor of the college that the PNM will be attending. The National Chi Omega website provides a listing of all chapter Recruitment Advisors.  Go to National Chi Omega website and sign into your personal account. Utilize the following link and select the college that the PNM will be attending.  https://everyday.chiomega.com/Interactive-Tools/Recruitment-Advisors.
2. Please email a copy of your LOS to recruitment@chiomegahouston.com.
3. Please e-mail recruitment@chiomegahouston.com for further assistance.

PROCESS FOR POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS (PNM): 

1. Chi Omega requires an Online Recruitment Introduction Form (RIF) and recommends two (2) letters of support (LOS) for each Potential New Member (PNM). 
2. The PNM will email her required documents and photos to the RIF and LOS writers. The RIF writer will not be collecting the LOS.
3. The PNM will need to register with the Houston Alumnae Panhellenic Association (HAPA) or with the Panhellenic group in her area. For more information, please refer to www.houston-panhellenic.org. Select “Recruitment”, and then select the “Recruitment Information Guide”. 
4. THE PNM MUST ALSO REGISTER WITH THE PANHELLENIC ASSOCIATION, AT THE COLLEGE SHE PLANS TO ATTEND, OR SHE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO GO THROUGH RECRUITMENT!
